Great show - not so great sound

This was a really great show that was less than it could be due to the sound levels. I don't understand why it had to be so loud - so loud that his voice was distorted much of the time. John Legend, live

I was fortunate to get these great seated tickets to see John Legend at Planet Hollywood on August 17, 2022. Great seats. I felt very disappointed in the show as a whole. Speaking of the background singers, the only thing more impressive than their gorgeous Afros and beauty were their superb voices and the class they exuded. Sound engineering was tweaked all night like a fine wine, getting better with each hour. The highlight though was John’s new destined to be a hit song, Stardust. We need the philosophical beauty of that song that we are immortal, born from stars and destined to once more, become stardust and live again. ... Read more
