Now for 2018 Marilyn's stratospheric rise to fame will be documented in a brand new musical. Written, directed and produced by Tegan Summer in collaboration with Authentic Brands Group (the owners of Marilyn Monroe's estate) comes, Marilyn! The New Musical.

From Norma Jeane to Marilyn Monroe!

Featuring 20 original songs as well as the music which Marilyn made iconic ("Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend" and "My Heart Belongs to Daddy"), Marilyn! The New Musical sees Marilyn transform from young Norma Jeane to superstar Marilyn Monroe! Broadway mainstay Ruby Lewis will take on the title role with Brittney Bertier playing Norma Jeane. Frank Lawson will play Charlie, Marilyn's most trusted driver.

What is Marilyn! The New Musical about?

Told through the eyes of Marilyn's most trusted driver Charlie, the musical depicts how Marilyn's fierce feminism and determination to succeed launched her into superstardom. However, whilst Marilyn's career sky-rocketed her personal life was in turmoil. Through her marriages, movies and iconic moments Marilyn is at constant battle with her alter ego, Norma Jeane, as she searches for true happiness.
