A voice like butter
To say I'm a fan of James Taylor is an understatement. This is about the 30th time seeing ( a fact) him and he still took me back to each decade and made tear up at certain songs. Back up singers Arnold,Katie and his son Henry were outstanding. I was sad not to hear " Shower the people" ( always look forward to Arnold's solo and " Millworker"but hey I understand he has so many great songs he can't do them all. My favorites last night were Shed a little light"and Close your eyes with his son Henry. They sounded BEAUTIFUL together.I saw him when he was here last time at Ceasers and thought his voice was better last night. I adore this very talented man! Thanks for the great night James and Company!
James Taylor - Caesars Palace
A real treat. JT usually plays large venues because he draws large crowds, yet his music is best heard in an intimate venue IMHO. Caesars Colosseum is a perfect compromise. It's big but not football stadium big. It was designed and built for entertainment, not sports. JT 's performance was superb. Band was inspired. Set list was exactly what I was hoping for. Mad props!
James Taylor in Vegas - heavenly
Attended James Taylor concert at Caesar’s Palace last night. The smile on my face and warmth in my heart continue into the next day. My favorite music event - ever. At 71, he still has that great voice and genuine performance that are what keeps him relevant after all of the years. Highly recommend this event. Great venue - amazing artist. - you won’t be disappointed.
Magical
I was finally able to talk my fiancé into going to the concert after many years of pleading. He finally gave in and was blown away by all the top notch talent in the band as well as James Taylor himself. He asked me why we hadn’t seen James Taylor before. Men. Needless to say, we can’t wait for the next concert. It was one of the best put together performances ever and we’ve seen plenty in our six decades on this planet. Best show ever!
He’s still paying it forward!
Best ever. What a moving and joyful soul. Hasn’t slowed down yet.
James Taylor in Kansas City
My sister and I went and seen this together last night. We are now 68 and 70 respectively. It was wonderful, his singing and music were amazing as was every member of his band as well. He has a great sense of humor and we all had fun! It felt like and old home gathering of the best of friends. The venue was great in my opinion! The weather was wonderful. I would go again in a New York minute. Don't miss seeing James Taylor! You will not be disappointed, I promise!! Possibly the best concert I have ever attended!
