Tuacahn Amphitheatre presents an open-air production of the hilariously funny musical adaptation of Shrek! Based directly on the 2001 Academy Award-winning Dreamworks animated movie, and William Steig's book, we join the ogre Shrek on his journey from the swamp to heroism with an array of larger than life (mostly) characters, including his sidekick Donkey, Princess Fiona, Lord Farquaad and a chorus of everybody's favorite fairytale creatures.

Until October 21, 2017

It's time to break out the platform shoes and feather boas for Mamma Mia's farewell tour! This sunshine-filled show redefined the concept of the jukebox musical for the new century by telling the bittersweet, yet hilarious story of single mother Donna, who is struggling to cope with her young daughter's impending marriage on a picturesque Greek island. Throw into the mix three lovers from her past, and a catalogue of ABBA's greatest hits, and you've got yourself a classic!

Newsies - The Musical

Until October 18, 2017

It's 1899 and the Newsies (the street kids who make their dough selling papers on street corners) are on strike. Pitting themselves against New York World publisher Joseph Pulitzer, the guy who's hiking the prices of their 'papes' from 50 cents per 100 to 60 cents, the exploited Newsies look like they might be out of a job, until they band together under the leadership of Jack and form a union to bring the big boss down!

Bill Engvall has a number of occupations decorating the pages of his resume - game show host, television star, film actor but, most of all, a stand-up comedian. Though the talented Texan first treaded the boards when he was working as a nightclub DJ, his big break came in the 90s when he hosted A Pair of Jokers with Rosie O'Donnell.
